Winfields Outdoors have been operating since 1971 and provide camping & caravanning equipment, outdoor clothing, outdoor footwear and gear from the leading manufacturers, through their network of 8 UK stores and their secure online E-commerce website.

Over the last few years, orders through their online store have increased dramatically, and their picking & packing area at the head-office in Haslingden is a constant hive of activity. One downside to this, is the high cost of printing packing & delivery notes, which currently costs around £400 a month spread across their 4 workstations.

Customer objective

Winfields were using some relatively cheap to replace (around £100 each) Samsung desktop mono laser printers. And buying printer cartridges & replacement printers as and when they needed them.

But because their printing volumes have increased the printers can no longer cope with the extra workload and are breaking down much sooner. As well as costing loads in replacement cartridges.
