Have you time for business book review?

I was recommended this next book and told not to let the title, or the profanity put me off.

So I didn’t!

And you know what? ‘Everything is F*cked’ is a great thought provoking read.

The author Mark Manson says he writes about big ideas & gives life advice that doesn’t suck.

Although the title won’t suggest it, the book is actually about hope. Asking deep questions about where the world is heading, and our place in it.

Mark goes through years of history detailing the bad things that have happened, but then showing that out of these situations hero’s & good things emerge to give us hope.

He shoots from the hip and doesn’t hold back, so if you don’t like talking about uncomfortable subjects like war, religion & relationships, it’s probably not a book for you.

Although his style is quite direct and the subject matter quite serious in parts, Mark manages to keep an under current of dry humour running, which makes it an enjoyable read.

I read it from a business leader’s perspective. But I’m sure anyone could pick this book up, enjoy the read and get some positive takeaways from it.

The book starts with Germany invading Poland and ends with Artificial Intelligence taking over the world.

And it’s packed with everything else in between. Even dedicating a whole section on religion (Mark must be a very brave person).

I’m not saying you’ll agree with everything in it, but I’m pretty sure most people will enjoy it & even learn a few new things too.

‘Everything is F*cked’ gets a thumbs up & 5 stars.
