I know it’s not Christmas, but I just had to share our Christmas tree teamwork with you…

Every year my wife makes the kids and I traipse around 6 garden centres to find the perfect Christmas tree. Nyreen then gets us to hold it straight, whilst she checks it for height, girth, shape & density. And we don’t pick one until it fits the required criteria and most importantly, we all agree (this bit can take a while).

And I must admit, I always moan like hell saying ‘it’s just like clothes shopping. You see something you like and spend the next 3 hours visiting every other shop. Before coming back to the first one to buy the item you first liked’.

But I’ll be honest, it’s taken me a while to understand that sometimes it takes teamwork to make an important decision that affects more than just you.

…and I’m not talking about the clothes shopping.
