The most wonderful thing has happened…
Our Plant a Tree campaign has passed 2,000, in partnership with our mental health charity partner Shiva Trust.
We’ve just purchased 1,000 oak trees, which Shiva Trust are planting next week in their empty paddock (see picture).
This brings our total number of trees planted to 2,140.
Darren Turner (Director of MY Total Office Solutions) explained. “Planting trees is the biggest & cheapest way to tackle the climate crisis. As trees grow, they absorb & store the carbon dioxide emissions driving global heating.”
“Scientific research estimates, a worldwide planting programme could remove two-thirds of all the emissions that have been pumped into the atmosphere by human activities. A figure the scientists describe as “mind-blowing”.
Darren continued. “Back in August 2019 we pledged to plant 1,000’s of trees & this next planting with Shiva Trust brings our running total to an amazing 2,140.”
MY Total Office Solutions are not doing alone, their customers are helping too…
For each office technology solution agreement, Darren and his team plant a tree for that person or organisation, providing each with a certificate showing where it was planted.
And it doesn’t end there either…
Several other North West based businesses have pledged their support and are planting trees for their customers too.

Also, a big welcome to our latest planting partner business, Key Fleet Vehicle Leasing, who are planting a tree for each electric vehicle their customers lease from them.
Shiva Trust charity manager, Anand Ennis Cole added: “We’re so grateful to Darren, his customers and partner businesses for their continued support.”
“Not only is it great news for the environment, it also provides a green endorsement to their brand, enhances their existing corporate social responsibility (CSR) program, whilst financially supporting our well-being mental health charity.”
