Good day. It’s time for a business book review…
This week I plumped for Ant Middleton’s second book ‘The Fear Bubble’.
I really enjoyed his first book ‘Last Man Standing’ which Ant clearly states, is his story. And differentiates this latest one, as his soul.
You might think. ‘This can’t be a business book’. And if you think that. You’ll be wrong.
The fear bubble is about harnessing exactly that. Fear!
As a business owner have you ever been paralyzed by anxiety? How am I going to increase profits. How am I going to pay that bill. Linda’s leaving how on earth can I replace her?
Or as a salesperson have you been frozen by fear? Butterflies before a big meeting. Unable to join a networking event. Too scared to call that prospect you could really help.
Fear is just not just about being shot at in a war zone or climbing Everest.
It’s also about taking exams. Trying to pass a driving test. Meeting your partners parents. Calling a prospect. Networking for the first time. Taking on your first employee.
Fear stops you doing all sorts of things because it makes you feel scared & uncomfortable.
This book is about managing fear.
Ant shares with you a special technique he’s developed to help him. Which has gotten him through wars and to the top & back down Everest.
Don’t get me wrong. His Everest quest was fascinating. But by far. The biggest learning in this book is how to harness fear and use it to your advantage.
Great book. ‘The Fear Bubble’ gets a 👍 & ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
