Have you heard of Siggi Wilzig?
If you haven’t, you need to understand his story, what a remarkable person.
Wilzig and his family were deported to one of the darkest places in the world, Auschwitz.
As a teenager he watched on as his family were murdered or died of illness around him, whilst witnessing unbelievable atrocities daily.
Wilzig though, had a survival instinct and used his wits to stay alive, coming close himself to death on several occasions.
After the camp was liberated, he went to work for the US army hunting Nazis, which earned him a visa to America.
His story didn’t end here, his future was just as remarkable for distinct reasons.
Through shear grit, determination, and self-belief Wilzig went from a travelling salesperson to becoming the CEO of a public traded oil company and the CEO of a bank with assets of over $4 billion inside 10 years.
How he did this I still can’t get my head around, but it’s a true story so there’s no denying Wilzig was exactly as author Joshua Greene titled the book. Unstoppable.
It’s probably the most amazing life and business story I’ve ever read, and it’s packed full of learnings.
It will make you cry and cringe, but it will also make you smile as you say aloud, well done Siggi.
‘Unstoppable’ gets a 👍 with ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
