What can we do to help?
Our recent article, detailed the models, organisations are likely to adopt:
- Distributers – those who migrate to completely home working
- Hybrids – who’ll have small office teams with others home working
- Flexibles – who want the flexibility to work from both home & the office.
- Status Quo’s – those who will revert fully back to the office & workplace
Eventually it’ll be business as usual for those adopting the status quo, who can rest assure we’ll provide them with the same great service they need and expect.
Although distributers, hybrids & flexibles will have different needs.
Flexibles:
Will require central printing / scanning, telephony technology, stationery, and workplace product supply. Supplemented with smaller home print & scan solutions with a mobile app to replicate their office phone system.
Hybrids:
Will require central printing / scanning, telephony technology, stationery, and workplace product supply. With remote team members needing feature rich high-quality print & scan solutions with office type telephony hardware and/or a mobile app with a supply of required stationery.
Distributers:
Are distributed team members working from their own homes (or Starbucks) with no central office. With each requiring feature rich high-quality print & scan solutions with office type telephony hardware and/or a mobile app with a supply of required stationery.
For us, we already have the products & services in place to cope with any of these scenarios. You see. We’ve been delivering to and supporting home-based people for years, so it’s nothing new.
The real difference is in the invoicing, where flexibility will be required:
- Invoice & deliver everything to 1 central location
- Order & invoice centrally but deliver to multiple locations
- Allow remote locations to order separately, whilst invoicing a central location
- Remote locations to order and be invoiced separately.
The key thing…
