Back in April we published a free guide to help you choose the right office printing technology installation…

The guide clearly identified that floor standing photocopiers (also known as multi-function devices) are the cheapest way to print for a busy office environment.

Also the guide identified that office personnel required functions and features not available on smaller devices. Such as A3 printing scanning & copying, duplex printing scanning and copying, scan to folder, scan to email, secure print and the capacity to cope with large print volumes.

These were the sort of functions that accountants Studholme & Bell needed. And thought that this sort of technology was financially out of their reach. But after a free assessment number crunching assessment and  consolidating 4 smaller desktop laser printers into 1 larger floor standing photocopier installation. When you consolidate from lots of smaller desktop devices to larger floor standing photocopiers installation costs can be very high, as its normally a 2 person job and technically quite complex. And this can be a barrier to entry for small business and less cash rich organisations like charities.
