This week’s worldie is ‘The Pumpkin Plan’ written by Mike Michalowicz.
Not sure if you’ve heard of Mike Michalowicz. He’s author of 5 books, created 2 multi-million-dollar companies before 30 & a fine example of a successful entrepreneur.
‘The Pumpkin Plan’ is the blueprint that Mike used to grow his companies & still uses today in his coaching business, where he helps others grow theirs.
The amazing thing. It really is based on growing real life pumpkins. But not the one’s you buy at Halloween to let you’re your kids carve up & put candles in.
Mike means. Gigantic prize-winning pumpkins. The biggest pumpkins you have ever seen. Grown using special giant pumpkin seeds.
After spending time analysing how prize-winning pumpkins are grown:
- Plant promising seeds
- Water, water, water
- Weed like a mad dog
- Remove the weaker pumpkins
- Focus all your attention on the biggest pumpkins
- Watch them grow massive in the last days of the season
Mike hit on a similar formula, which turbo charged his business:

I’ve got to say it got me hooked. Mike has such a wicked sense of humour. After reading the 📚. I’ve certainly got a different perspective on pumpkins & growing businesses.
