Did you know?
In 2005 some Silicon Valley tech firm firms (including Apple, Google & Intel) had a secret agreement not to poach employees from each other….
Straight up, it’s true!
More than 64,000 people in Silicon Valley were affected and in 2015 Judge Lucy Koh approved a $415 million settlement.
The aim of the secret arrangement was to stop employee mobility, and, therefore, keeping wages artificially low for the tech companies involved.
It must be an embarrassment to these Silicon Valley companies, who say they spend heavily on employee retention and care.
But when you’re working at the same time to systemically limit the earnings potential of your employees, it doesn’t sound too good, does it?
We’ve worked hard to build a great team, they’re not employees or just a number to us, they’re like family and real people, with feelings and individual needs.
Our team are excellent when it comes to providing office technology solutions, and couldn’t be cajoled by the likes of Apple, Google, or Intel.
…because they trust us & know we truly care.
