To get to the bottom!
Joking aside…
Age UK Lancashire are providing a fantastic support service to our most vulnerable older people.
Over 35,000 older people in Lancashire are identified as lonely and socially isolated. And the current situation means most vulnerable people are now also feeling very scared.
Many elderly don’t have access to current information or have families to provide it, and do not know who to trust when they need help.
Whether that’s help with funding essentials, shopping, paying bills, accessing medical treatment, keeping active or having a friendly reassuring voice at the end of the phone.
We’ve been lucky enough to get involved.
Today (whilst out delivering) we dropped in to Age UK Lancashire with our 2nd pallet of toilet roll. Which will be included in the care packs being rolled out to our most vulnerable elderly.
You can get involved and help too.
It doesn’t have to be a mountain of toilet roll. There are loads of ways you can help.
Whether it’s donating products, cash donations or simply giving your time in some way.
