Seeing loads of organisations migrate to home working has been amazing…
Even chairman of Ryman & former BBC Dragons Den dragon Theo Paphitis said last night on Question Time:
“We’ve had 100’s working from home, and it’s never going to be the same again.”
“Having the flexibility to work at home or in the office, will be good for team members work life balance & mental health. Which will no doubt benefit the business.”
It’s funny though how things can go full circle.
5 years ago we had a distributed network of 4 retail stores. Which we closed to save the business.
Migrating to 1 business unit with a central office function. Because our business landscape changed.
Now, another factor outside of our control, has caused a shift to home working.
And many organisations will see benefits (like Theo Paphitis) and adopt hybrid or even full home working models.
Same goes for us too. As we slowly ease back into the workplace. Flexibility of office and home working will be our new normal.
Not quite back to having retail stores, but back to a distributed working model.
And our customers can be sure we’ll have the right products, solutions, ordering processes and invoicing solutions to support their new normal too.
…no matter what this looks like for their own individual situation.
