Here’s an idea for you…
How do you jazz up the humble prospect letter?
What. You’ve never heard of sending a prospect a letter. It’s the new craze. It’s current, different and can stand you out from the crowd. If your clever.
What do I mean by being clever?
Have a think what useful low-cost novelty gift you could include with your letter. Which can be linked back to helping your prospect.
In the past I’ve used a pocket watch with the headlines. ‘It’s time to get down to the business of saving you money & the more time passes the less you can save.’
I’ve also used a whistle with the headline. ‘Let me help you blow the whistle on your rising print technology costs.’
When we become a Konica Minolta partner, I even creating a wedding and sent prospects an invitation saying. ‘Our new partnership is the perfect marriage.’
If you’re a sales trainer. You could gift a tape measure and use the headline. ‘Need some help getting your sales team to measure up?’
Or an accountant’s gift could be a calculator with a headline saying. ‘Struggling getting your numbers to add up?’
A wealth management business could include chocolate coins with the headline. ‘Let me show you 3 great ways to increase your wealth.’
I think you get the gist…
The aim of the letter and gift is to stand you out from the crowd. Start the relationship process. Providing a higher probability of the prospect taking your follow up call & even a meeting.
..what gift (make sure it’s useful) and headline could you use?
